A Rare Event in the Early Morning Sky

A Rare Event in the Early Morning Sky

Right now the planets are all located on the morning side of the sky. And if you go outside about 6:00 am and look toward the southeast, you’ll be able to see five planets and the moon stretched out across the sky (a rare event happening through February 6, 2016). This is such a rare event that we won’t be able to see all five planets and moon together at same time in morning sky until 2022!
